Brand Ambassador Bio :

Hello, everyone. My name is Saylor Cruz, and I am a 10-year-old fourth grader at the Cyber Academy of South Carolina. Purple and orange are my favorite colors (go, Clemson Tigers). Some of my favorite hobbies include watching Tik Tok videos, musical theater, tap dancing, jazz, pageants, taekwondo, arts and crafts, and speaking with a British accent. The Gold Presidential Volunteer Work Award for more than 100 hours of community service was one of my greatest accomplishments this year.

GET TO KNOW ME:

Some of my favorite goals are to accumulate 200 hours of volunteer service in order to acquire another Gold Presidential Volunteer Service Award, to one day be crowned as a national pageant titleholder, and to continue constantly promoting kindness. Majestic Asheboro Fall Festival Queen, Majestic Little Miss Gastonia, Little Miss Mt. Pleasant, Ultimate Mini Majestic Miss Claremont, and Young Miss Unionville are some of the titles I now hold. Community service is very important to me. I enjoy volunteering with the Salvation Army, Lia's Literacy Project, Read Across America, Common Heart Food Pantry, Little Free Library, Tega Cay Fire Department, and Tega Cay Police Department; Adopt a Cop; Gifts of the Art; Lake Wylie Children's Charity; Virtual Hero; SC Burn Relief Fund; Second Saturday Service; and Tega Cay Community Clean Up. I also enjoy working with the Salvation Army. "Cruzin' with the Kind Kidz" is the platform I created. Here are a few of the pageant titles I have won: International Junior Miss SC Jr. Princess, Mini Majestic Miss Claremont, Ultimate Mini Majestic Southern Regal, , Elite Miss Tiny Miss NC, Little Miss Tega Cay, Little Miss South Carolina Cosmos, AEM South Carolina Jr. Preteen, National American Miss South Carolina Jr. Preteen, AUS South Carolina Preteen, Little Miss Dallas, Elite Southern Charms South Carolina Grand Majestic, Little Miss Fort Mill, World’s Perfect, America’s Perfect Preteen and many more!

Fun Fact:

Becoming a Disney Imagineer is my dream job. From an artistic/drawing standpoint, I want to design characters, and then through coding, animation, and animatronics, I want to bring them to life.

HOW DO YOU REDEFINE BEAUTY WITH BEYOND THE PRETTY FACE?

I redefine the meaning of beauty by understanding that beauty is different for all of us. God created us equal but different on the outside, and I believe that should be celebrated. Everyone has a unique story, and I think that we as young girls should share our stories with others and make connections. I am not the typical "model" type, but that doesn’t mean that my inner beauty doesn’t count and that I shouldn’t let it shine through. Remember... there's more to ME than meets the eye!
